28th Annual
WORLD HEALING EVENT



For over 27 years, a community of people from the Toronto area has been gathering on Dec. 31st at the historic St. Lawrence Hall (King St. East and Jarvis St) to share in a World Peace prayer, meditation and candle lighting ceremony. This year, there will be a musical performance by L*O*V*E POWER, who will present "Soul Songs with a Beat" in the spirit of global healing and world peace. There will also be music by Peace on the Beach (Penny Winestock, Lorne Gould, Helen Bauer, and Arturo Ricardo Mundigo) who will perform Dona Nobis Pacem (Grant Us Peace).

This wonderfully inspiring event, which is part of a simultaneous global effort, brings together people all over the world at the same moment (Noon GMT) to focus their intention on healing the planet. We intend to transform the earth into a place that embraces peace and loving-kindness everywhere.

Note that this will be the last year that this annual event will take place at St. Lawrence Hall. Plans are already in place to hand over the reigns to a new group of people who will continue the tradition at a new location in northwest Toronto. So please join us in this special, farewell edition of the World Healing Event for one last time at this magical, historical location.
